Cornell University Student Performance
"When I read the script I realized it’s for me. My dad would have come out of his drywall factory to see this show and would love it!"
Mikayla Wilson, Cornell student, and director of the Cornell Pray production
Pray for the Dead was performed on November 17th, 2016 at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. The student performance was done in coordination with the Cornell School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) annual Labor Roundtable.
The play was adapted from the original script and directed by student Mikayla Wilson and performed by students at the ILR with coordination of the playwright, Gene Bruskin. Cornell students were auditioned for the show and the live action was supplemented by the use of the actual recorded songs from the Pray for the Dead CD.
